This 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Sunliner convertible was discovered in Southern California by a Ford Motor Company engineer, Ron Hitter. He performed a frame-off, comprehensive nut-and-bolt rotisserie restoration, with 712 miles since completion. The underside is refinished to match the color of the car. The restoration took over 7 years to complete using many NOS parts. The car is powered by a rebuilt 8-cylinder engine mated to an automatic transmission, and features power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, and an AM Town & Country radio.
