Details
This nicely-restored, 69,000 original miles, Country Squire Wagon seats nine people with the third seat in. In 1957, Ford did a complete redesign of the Country Squire. Wraparound windshields made use of a reverse-canted A-pillar, while the side-glass area was larger and allowed for better vision. Also, a wider, curved tailgate was designed. The design was so popular, in fact, that Ford set a record in 1957 selling 321,170 wagons and 27,690 of those were variations of the Country Squire. That
number wasn't beat until 1965. This particular car was optioned with the larger 312, D-Code Thunderbird motor producing 245hp. Power windows and power steering are two more welcomed options that were chosen for this wagon in 1957.
