Details
Late in the 1957 model year, Dodge introduced its K-Series D100 Sweptside pickup truck to compete with Chevy's Cameo carrier and Ford's Ranchero. The Sweptside 100 featured the flamboyant rear fins and other styling cues grafted onto a long box from Dodge's own 2 door station wagon. Sweptside pickups came standard with the custom cab, which added a glove box, two tone seat material covering foam rubber cushions, two sun visors, a wraparound rear window and 2-speed wipers. Custom cab exterior features additional chrome trim and embellishments. Dodge offered the Sweptside with two tone paint, wide white wall tires and full wheel covers. Professional rotisserie restoration completed in 2006. Totally stock in appearance, its stylish two tone paintwork, brilliant chrome and new two tone interior. Under the hood sits a fully detailed 270cid HEMI engine.
