Details
Frame-off, nut-and-bolt restoration started with a mostly complete, laser-straight Arizona car body. The body and frame were sand-blasted, rear floor was raised and a new floor tunnel was installed to clear the new drivetrain. The firewall was smoothened out. New custom inner fenders installed. High-quality paint, base coat/clear coat applied. The original chassis was modified to accommodate a C5 Corvette Z06 engine and drivetrain with a Tremec T56 6-speed transmission. Receipts are available
for proof of purchase. The torque tube was extended to fit the Nomad wheelbase and the inner driveshaft was fully balanced. The interior features custom bucket seats done in black leather and suede and includes power windows, a custom Vintage Air unit and Dakota digital gauges. All of the original chrome moldings have been reworked. The restoration was finished off with all new glass and a set of American Racing custom one-off wheels.
