Details
Custom full frame-off restoration on a classic '57 Chevrolet pickup. Well over 2,000 man-hour building this custom one of a kind show truck. The body, doors, fenders, hood and bedwere completely disassembled and chemically dipped. Repainted with PPG base coat/clear coat Deltron Based 9700 Jet Black. Cut and buffed to a mirror finish the inside of the bed was treated to the same cut and buff standards as the outside of the truck. Complete full 2x6 custom built chaise by TCI. Independent front
suspension, 2' drip spindles, tubular A-arms, power rack & pinion steering, adjustable four link rear coilover shocks, Currier Ford 9' center section with 411 gears, front and rear sway bars. Powered by a Ram Jet 350cid electronically controlled fuel injected GM crate motor, a completely rebuilt 700R4 transmission with an internal converter lock up, power disc brakes, complete Vintage Air, Mar K Wood bed with no bolt stainless strips. Over ten coats of High Solids 2002 Concepts Clear Coat on the wood bed. Complete custom black and gray leather interior with center arm rest. Chrome tilt ididit steering column, billet steering wheel, complete new custom dash and instrument panel by Tach-Force Classic instruments, custom 18' and 20' American Racing black spokes/chrome barrel wheels, all new tinted glass, rubber seals, door felt, Dynamat sound dampening on the floor, doors and headliner, new wiper motor, under dash power brake pedal. Aluminum radiator, fan and shroud. This truck took over two years to build and countless hours of customizing all the fine details such as custom molded air conditioning vents in the dash. A 3/16' steel plate was added to the bed rails and side panels to reinforce and strengthen the attached fenders. Custom 20 gallon fuel tank and filler flap on driver's rear fender. Hidden tailgate latches, capped off bed rails. All wires and air conditioning lines are hidden in the engine compartment. Doors and hood seams fit perfectly.
