This 1957 Chevrolet Cameo Resto-Mod pickup was a professional, open-checkbook build with some of the best parts and most recognized names in the industry. Power comes from a professionally built 454ci LS6 big-block engine producing more than 500hp with polished engine components adorned throughout the detailed engine bay, all backed to a B&M TH400 automatic transmission with a Gear Vendors overdrive unit. The chassis has been modified and uses a Total Cost Involved (TCI) stainless 4-link with

adjustable coilover shocks in the rear connected to a Currie 9-inch rear with 4.11 gears and an TCI IFS system up front with adjustable coilover shocks and a dual-chamber power rack & pinion steering system rolling on custom Intro 17-inch wheels. The list of options includes 4-wheel power disc brakes, shaved and modified bumpers, Fluidyne aluminum radiator with electric fans, billet front runner system, front and rear sway bars, stainless 24-gallon gas tank, Painless wiring harness and a 3-inch custom Flowmaster exhaust. With design and renderings by Steve Stanford of Stanford Design, body and paint were done by Randy Haapala of The Body Palace in Huntington Beach, CA. It's finished in a custom mix of House of Kolor Sunset Orange. It features custom airbrushed side trim that mimics the trim found on a 1957 Bel Air. The interior was covered by Gabe Lopez of Gabe's Street Rod Custom Upholstery, who finished the interior in a custom two-tone gray leather with custom sculpting on the seats and door panels along with a custom headliner. Creature comforts include a Vintage Air system, power steering, power windows, shaved trim and door handles with power door releases, polished Ididit tilt steering column, smoked glass, one-piece door glass, custom stereo system, and custom gauges and bezel. This example is a multi-award-winner, including Best in Show at the Oakland Roadster Show, and has also been a magazine cover truck. This truck was previously part of the renowned Ron Pratte Collection.
