Details
This custom Bel Air convertible is powered by a 572ci big-block engine equipped with an electronic fuel-injection system, Aeromotive fuel pump and baffle system. The engine is mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. An aluminum dual-pass radiator and transmission cooler were installed, along with custom headers and a stainless-steel exhaust system with custom cutouts. It sits on an Art Morrison chassis, and 13-inch Wilwood brakes, rotors and 4-piston calipers put stopping power to the Schott
wheels. It features a Candy Apple Red Bel Air exterior with a power top, power windows, vent windows and rear quarter-windows. A customized brown Italian leather interior features an Ididit tilt steering column with a body-color-painted smaller diameter steering wheel, Vintage Air and Classic Instrument gauges. To operate all the electrical features in the cockpit, a custom American Autowire kit was installed, including a built-in battery charger and battery cutoff switch. The entire underside is chromed and powder-coated.
