Details

This custom 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Nomad station wagon underwent a no-expense-spared custom restoration that included a repaint, replacement of the powertrain and a new interior. The 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine was installed in place of the factory V8 during the build and features a cold-air intake, body-color engine cover accents and headers connected to a custom dual exhaust system with electronically actuated cutouts. Cooling is from an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, and other features include a serpentine pulley system, a CPP brake master cylinder and billet hood hinges sourced from Eddie Motorsports. Braking is provided by cross-drilled rotors paired with Baer calipers at all four corners. The body is finished in blue and white. The cabin features an adjustable front bench trimmed in custom brown upholstery, and the rear bench seat and interior panels are upholstered to match. The custom center console houses a Custom Autosound stereo with XM Radio and a USB charging port, and further additions include a 3-spoke steering wheel, a Vintage Air system, cruise control, power steering, and power-operated windows and door locks. Originally assembled at GM's Los Angeles, CA, facility, this Nomad rides on polished 18-inch Budnik wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires.
