Details
This 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air received a comprehensive frame-off restoration completed in 2017 and has 700 miles since completion. The top was chopped 1.5 inches and all the sheet metal was redone, with the body being completely shaved with no door handles. Under the hood sits a GM LS1 V8 crate engine backed by an automatic transmission. The Bel Air rides on an Art Morrison chassis and features Art Morrison suspension components and a stainless-steel Kugel Komponents rear end. The Bel Air has a fully custom exhaust system and features 4-wheel disc brakes for stopping power. The interior features custom Ron Mangus leather and dashboard. Amenities include power windows, air conditioning and a custom stereo system. The wheels are one-offs by Chip Foose with the wheel wells expanded out. It also has new custom handmade glass throughout the car. The car earned a Builders Choice Award at Goodguys.
