1956 CHEVROLET BEL AIR CUSTOM CONVERTIBLE

This is a pro-built 5-year project that is highly modified. Complete frame-off restoration, power front forward hood, vent windows removed, windshield tilted forward 1', top bows cut down to match windshield. Door sills removed at bottom of doors so doors were lengthened at bottom, added body line from convertible boot to end of trunk to match hood line. Hood also lengthened to go snug to windshield removing the inner grates from factory. The softtop cover is all hand built solid metal and works

just like the new Corvettes, hand built inner fenders front and rear, all metal and hand made, all door panels molded by the builder and one-off hand made, headlights, taillights and running lights all cast by builder and are also one-off, gas cap fill is in original spot behind left tail light and all brackets are again hand made, also left taillight opens with a remote to fill tank one-off, interior floor is all hand crafted metal and the grates are removable for cleaning, the grates are also one-off, the glovebox is a power opening box and inside is the DVD and GPS unit, the stainless molding from the doors to the center is also one-off, the stainless above the glove box is also power and it opens to operate the air bags and air conditioning unit, the hood folds forward and is also power operated, the engine is a 502cid/502hp engine, 406 transmission, Kugle front and rear end, inboard brakes in rear, underside of car is show perfect and chromed and polished paint to match, original 56 convertible frame, over 1,000 photos of the build before, during and after. I can document over 1,300 hours of labor. The car has less than 25 miles on it and was completed about 2 months ago. It has been to 2 shows, Best of Show first time and Builders Choice at Goodguys, Scottsdale. Well over $500,000.00 in receipts on the vehicle and a five-year build.
