1956 CHEVROLET BEL AIR CUSTOM 2 DOOR SEDAN

I bought a truly rust free 1956 Chevy Bel Air 2 door sedan from the second owner, who had stored it indoors for 28 years with the best intentions. I brought it home, tore it down and built a real car. The chassis was stripped and painted black. I then installed Unisteer's polished rack & pinion steering, 2' dropped spindles with GM brakes, Heidts polished stainless steel upper & lower control arms, QA1 adjustable shocks. The rear end is a narrowed 9' Ford with Richmond 4.11 posi-traction with heavy duty yoke and 31 spline Dutchman axles, rear disc brakes with braided flex lines, QA1 adjustable shocks and Cal Traxs adjustable traction bars, and 20' vision chrome wheels with 245/40ZR and 245/35ZR tires. The engine is a Chevy big block 468cid with Hilborne mechanical Fuel Injection that has been converted to electronic Fuel Injection. The exhaust has Patriot ceramic headers with 2' primaries and 3 1/2' collectors, 2 1/4' aluminized exhaust with Edelbrock mufflers and stainless polished tips. It stays cool with Griffins aluminum radiator with 15' pusher fan, 195 degree fan relay system and custom-built mirrored finish stainless steel air dam. The transmission is a Turbo 400 with hardened shafts, shift kit and Gearvendors overdrive. Features a custom interior with genuine black cowhide leather with black ostrich, full power seats, power windows, Pioneer premier player Pioneers 10 disc changer, 1000 watt amp and 6 pioneer speakers total. It's a rolling concert. Done in House of Kolors black with custom Candy Red with Goldflake white base. The paint is incredible in the sun. This Chevy was a Top Ten pick receiving the Grand Touring Achievement Award at the 2008 Seattle Roadster Show, winner at the Northwest Classic Chevy Triple XXX show and has won many many awards at many other shows.

A full custom powered by a big block Chevy engine with Turbo 400 and Gear Vendor overdrive. A Candy Red with black Ostrich interior. No expense was spared. A multiple award winner.
