Finished in Gunmetal Gray, this 1956 Chevrolet 3100 pickup is a ground-up all-custom build. It's powered by a built Chevrolet 454ci V8 engine with a Holley Sniper EFI fuel injection system, ceramic-coated headers and a custom aluminum radiator with an electric fan. The color-matched big block is complemented by a Billet Specialties serpentine belt and polished pulleys and mated to a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission with a Lokar shifter mounted on the floor. The driveline features a new balanced driveshaft and Ford 9-inch rear end with posi-traction. UDS Air Ride Technologies system provides a controlled ride. This 3100 has power steering and the stopping power is provided by front power disc brakes with the master cylinder mounted to frame. It also features a smoothed-out firewall and a relocated battery box. The bodywork includes hundreds of hours of metal fabrication. The attention to detail leaves extraordinarily smooth, straight body lines and gaps with fitment as a top priority. The build included replacing the firewall and floor and new oak planks were installed in the bed with all-new stainless strips. The bed has 2.5-inch tubbed inner rear fenders and is finished with no stake pockets and a reversed latched tailgate along with color-matched bumpers. Inside finds a painted dash that features a Classic Instruments gauge cluster, a glide bench seat covered in gray that match the custom door panels and a custom headliner insert. Dynamat sound-dampening was installed throughout, and it features a single DIN stereo with built-in kick-panel speakers. The interior also includes an Ididit tilt column, 15-inch Forever Sharp steering wheel, and all-new tinted glass and rubber. This custom pickup rides on 20-inch American Racing Rally wheels and new whitewall tires.
