Nicknamed 'The Badillac,' this Pro-Street custom 1956 Cadillac Coupe De Ville is arguably the wildest Cadillac on the planet. Featured in the Auto Meter booth at the 2011 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, it won Auto Meter's WinningRide.com contest and appeared on the cover of the company's 2012 catalog. It was also voted one of the Top Ten Most Outrageous Rides at SEMA by MSNautos.com and has appeared in numerous magazines. The big Cad's roof has been re-contoured with a 3' chop at the front and a 1/2'

at the back, the rear quarter skirts molded in and smoothed and the door handles trimmed and shaved, after which it was sprayed with custom mixed 'Obscene Green' paint. The car brims with fascinating details. The now keyless entry interior is finely finished in modern materials while retaining its '50s-era flair, the 3' exhaust is ducted through the stock rear bumper outlets and you still fill 'er up by accessing the gas cap behind the flip-up driver's side taillight. Rolling on Center Line wheels with Kumho radials up front and monstrous 33x22.5' slicks out back, the Badillac is built on a sectioned and lowered Tri-Five Chevy front sub-frame with power rack & pinion steering and a Competition Engineering back half with a Strange narrowed 9' Ford rear end; coilover shocks and disc brakes are found at all four corners. The exclamation point in the mix is the car's pump fuel-fed 468ci big-block Chevy engine, which towers through the hood with a GMC 8-71 blower topped with dual 1,050cfm Holley Dominator carburetors and a Top Fuel-style carbon-fiber butterfly scoop. The same material is used in the valve covers, firewall and other engine room pieces, as well as throughout the cool custom interior. With all that going for it, it's no surprise that this street-driven multiple show-winner draws attention wherever it goes. From the Scott Thomas Collection.
