This 1955 GMC custom pickup is powered by a rebuilt 427ci V8 Chevrolet engine mated to an automatic transmission with a 2-speed transfer case. Both the engine and transmission have recently been rebuilt. This pickup is equipped with 8-lug front rims and 6-lug rear rims, which is how 1955 NAPCOs were delivered. It also features a new power steering pump and power steering gearbox. This truck has all signs of being an original NAPCO 4x4, including an original NAPCO copper tag on the front differential and original NAPCO decals on the interior, along with shifter information.
