Vehicle restoration was completed in 2001. 292cid V8, transmission rebuilt, front end rebuilt, all chrome taken off and re-chromed, inside of car stripped including dash, all new interior upholstery, original clock rebuilt, original radio rebuilt and FM added, stock tachometer works, power steering, new cloth top that has only been up once since installation, correct non-porthole hardtop, added steel belted radial tires on original spoke rims, original
fender skirts and car has been repainted to original Raven Black color. History tells us that through inspired by and positioned directly against the Corvette, Ford billed the Thunderbird as a personal luxury car, putting a greater emphasis on the car's comfort and convenience features, rather then its inherent sportiness. Designations aside, the Thunderbird sold exceptionally well in its first year. Here is your chance to own a tiny piece of history.
