1955 FORD FAIRLANE VICTORIA

For the 1955 model year, the Fairlane name replaced the Crestline as Ford's premier full-sized vehicle. Ford offered six different body styles which included the Victoria hardtop coupe. With its distinctive styling, all the Fairlane models featured the trademark stainless-steel Fairlane stripe on the side and the most popular model was the Victoria that underscored a public preference for Ford's traditional hardtop, which had been around since 1951. This 1955 Fairlane Victoria was purchased in March of 1955 in Washington and eventually moved. This is a true one-owner car for over 60 years. In 2015, it was sold to Sanderson Ford where it underwent a year-and-a-half long ground-up restoration. No expense was spared on this Fairlane including a professional rebuild on the original 272ci Y-block V8, a complete new paint job in Raven Black and Snowshoe White. And, the interior was completely redone in black and white as well. This restoration also included all-new bushing, new brakes, powder-coated suspension, all-new wiring, a complete rebuild on the 3-speed manual transmission with overdrive, and brand-new Coker whitewall tires. It also still has the original working AM radio.
