This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air custom convertible is the recipient of an extensive two-year restoration and is powered by a new fuel-injected 383ci crate stroker engine with aluminum heads and a serpentine pulley system. This powerplant is coupled with a custom 4-speed automatic transmission and exhales through a custom 2.5-inch Corvette exhaust. The entire original suspension was removed and replaced front to back. The sub-frame assembly includes many upgrades, such as independent front suspension

with power rack & pinion steering, lower control arms and 4-link rear suspension. Additional custom options include custom Corvette rear suspension, custom-fabricated CND Hot Rod Road Hugger Art Morrison frame and a Griffin aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. This car is equipped with power 4-wheel 4-piston disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors. It rolls on custom Cragar-style 5-spoke 17-inch wheels retrofitted for the Bel Air. It's also equipped with power windows, power steering and RainGear intermittent wipers with a new American Autowire wiring kit. The body of the car was refined to achieve panel alignment and a smooth finish. The PPG two-stage paint was applied with multiple layers of clearcoat, and all chrome components were restored to a high shine for a mirror-like finish on the bumpers and emblems. The interior features an all-new designer Italian leather in tan with red stitching accents and German-style square-weave carpet in tan, contrasted by the custom-made Haartz power convertible top and leather boot. A custom original-style Flaming River chrome tilt Bel Air steering wheel complements a new set of gauges. A custom leather-wrapped console between the driver and passenger houses switches for upgraded features that include the Bluetooth stereo with custom speakers and a Vintage Air system.
