Details
The workmanship and brilliance of this car is breath taking. The roof has been chopped 1', drip rails removed, flippers removed, custom fitted glass, hood pancaked 1 1/2', front fenders lowered 3/4' and parking lights flushed. Front and rear bumpers were smoothed, reshaped and tucked in. Rockers increased 1 3/8' and side trim was custom machined, smoothed and chromed. Door handles shaved, custom made taillights, wheel wells smoothed with no visible lip or seams, custom chassis with polished
steel A-arms, rack & pinion steering, chromed 4-link rear suspension, coil over adjustable shocks, 9' posi-traction rear end, 14' disc brakes and stainless steel gas tank. Engine is fuel injected LS2 engine with 400hp and 4L60E transmission. Polished block and transmission, polished and chromed lines and brackets and custom hood hinges. One-off Budnik rims with 18' in front and 20' in rear. Interior has been done in fine leather and Mercedes wool carpet with power front seats. Vintage Air, AM/FM/CD and Ididit steering column complete the interior. Exterior is Red Nectarine Candy 3-stage paint with European hard clear coat that is highly reflective. The craftsmanship is reflected in the smooth and flat body panels, as well as the tight gaps. When designing the car, every inch was taken into consideration. Our thoughts were to keep the '55 look, but enhance the body lines.
