This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible, nicknamed the 'Hot One,' was originally built on February 28, 1955, in Oakland, CA, and brought back to life in Texas. This car received a total frame-off restoration back to factory specifications with all numbers and date codes matching the build date. It has a two-tone red and beige exterior, with a period-correct interior and a Gypsy Red and Shoreline Beige convertible top. The year 1955 was the first model-year Chevrolet introduced a V8 engine in a production car, and this example is powered by a Power Pack 265ci V8 engine mated to a PowerGlide transmission. This Bel Air is equipped with power steering and brakes, as well as a spare tire carrier, Wonder Bar radio and all available chrome options.
