Description
This custom 1955 Chevrolet 5700 SS Duramax pickup was the recipient of extensive drivetrain and body modifications. The truck is powered by a 6.6-liter Duramax turbo-diesel engine placed in the mid-engine location, backed by a 6-speed Allison transmission. The truck sits on air-ride suspension and has full onboard air, along with two tanks, an automatic compressor and a train horn. The body of the truck was stretched to accommodate a roomy back seat and a custom bed was built to match. It is finished in a two-tone red and black with a custom-airbrushed stripe to tie it all together. The truck is equipped with a Vintage Air system, gauges and a touchscreen stereo. It is a 2024 Barrett-Jackson Cup participant, driving from Oregon to Scottsdale towing 10,000 pounds and averaged 20 mpg. It rides on custom American Force wheels.
