Presenting a beautiful 1955 210 2 door hardtop that is a true survivor. This classic has less than 8,600 documented original miles. This car has never been restored. It was once owned by the famous NASCAR champion Davy Jones. Sold new by James House, owner of Raymore Chevrolet of Central Square, NY, to the Davy Jones family. It was ordered with the following options: 6 cylinder, standard, heater, clock delete, white walls and two tone paint. The exterior two tone Navajo Tan and Adobe Beige paint
is all original and in great condition for 57 years old. The original interior compliments the exterior. It still has the factory original tires on the car. The only items ever replaced were the battery exhaust pipe, muffler, gas tank and re-plated rear bumper. Included with the car are various bills of sale, written statements and affidavits of fact and registrations indicating dates and mileage from previous owners and other information about the history of the car. Over the years it exchanged hands with mostly collectors including Bob Everts who was one of the minds behind SoCal Speed Shops. This is a very rare car with extremely low mileage and documentation. The sale proceeds will be split between the Barrett-Jackson Cancer Research Fund @ TGen and Festival of Hope in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. This car is being sold to support the fight against cancer.
