Race ready vehicle was used by the Arizona Highway Patrol 'R.A.I.D.', Race Against Impaired Driving program. A new 502cid crate motor was provided by GM Racing Division and Basco Racing Engines in Gilbert, AZ was chosen as the performance builder, making the motor a 509cid with performance parts being built into it. The motor dynoed at 769hp with 656ft/lb of torque @ 7,156rpm. It has less than 75 passes made on it. The new style Code 3 LED light bar and body strobe lights light up the night. The

body is a rust-free original Arizona car, with a fiberglass front clip and deck lid and aluminum rear wing spoiler with a Diest 8.0' parachute. The transmission is a Hughes Race Turbo 400 automatic with a Hughes 5,500 stall converter. The electronics include a TCI roll stop, Dedenbear throttle stop and delay, K&R throttle timer with cross over delay and Pro Stage with two timer control systems and regulators. Accessories include a Cheetah shifter, Kirkey aluminum seat, Autometer gauges, quick release steering column wired with transbrake, radio and roll control buttons. The chassis includes front Fatman 2' dropped spindles, Eddies Engineering welded 12-point roll cage, custom rear end housing, Strange 35-spline axle with spool, 4-wheel disc brakes, rack and pinion steering, Weld wheels and Goodyear rubber. Two 1,150cfm Holley carburetors.
