Nicely restored 1953 MG TD finished in Madder Red lacquer paint over new black leather interior. It is complete with a black soft-top, side curtains and a full tonneau cover. The interior features a beautiful wood dash, steering wheel and gear knob. Power comes from a stock 1250cc 4-cylinder engine with twin SU carburetors and a 4-speed manual transmission. Other notable options are Lucas head lamps, fog lamps and chrome luggage rack. This MG was restored in 1985; it is listed in the T-Register
and is presented with extensive restoration notes, invoices, period club magazines, service manuals and MG literature. The MGT series were popular among returning soldiers after World War II wanting affordable, exciting, nimble sports cars and were a common staple in road races and rallies all across the USA.
