Details

This beautiful 3100 custom pickup has been completely restored, with only 461 miles since completion. The exterior body is very straight and the paint is very nice. It was finished in 1976 Corvette Yellow with cream and tan accents on half the cab, front sun visor, side steps and rear bumper support. All of the chromework was restored or replaced and shines beautifully. The detailed rear bed was smoothed and new wood was added. The truck sits on 15' Chevrolet moon-style matching wheels. A hitch

was added to pull a small trailer. The tasteful custom yellow and white interior matches the exterior theme. Some interior upgrades include a leather headliner and seat, door panels, power windows and sound system. The painted engine compartment is nicely detailed and home to the 235 inline 6-cylinder engine. The engine is equipped with an Offenhauser intake and dual carburetors. It breathes through a complete Magnaflow exhaust system that sounds sweet. The engine is cooled by an aluminum radiator with electric fan. The electrical system was upgraded to 12-volts, including a new Painless wiring kit and Optima battery. The engine is coupled to a 3-speed manual transmission that shifts smoothly. For extra stopping power, the truck has power brakes with front discs. The undercarriage is very clean. This great-looking truck runs and drives very nice.
