This very rare and desirable 1950 Cadillac convertible is one of few driving the streets today after nearly 60 years. A very collectible car with the original 331cid engine and Hydra-matic transmission. Adding to its luxury are the extended quarter panels (nearly 1 foot) that make room for the beautiful Continental Kit. While the rear of the car was customized, the rest of the car was left with a completely original restoration as not to disturb its authentic and nostalgic state. The fabulous

1950 body styling was so smooth it paved the way for 3 more years of similar styling from Cadillac. As 1950 convertibles are very well sought after cars, few emerge from the cobwebs of storage units and barns, reminding us that these are cars from an era long past. The interior has been re-upholstered in beige and grey leather. The original 331 engine and Hydra-matic transmission were rebuilt by Knightens Machine shop and Key Transmissions in Albuquerque, NM. The car has gone through an extensive frame-up restoration and taken down to the metal. Nearly every piece mechanical or cosmetic has been replaced, rebuilt or restored. Whether the car sits in a climate controlled warehouse or is enjoyed as an everyday driver, we hope the new owner will love driving it and respect this rare beauty.
