1948 CHEVROLET 3100 CUSTOM PICKUP

This Chevy 3100 custom pickup was the beneficiary of a professional body-off restoration and custom build with attention to detail throughout. This custom pickup utilizes a 1954 cab and front body clip. It is powered by a GM 4.3-liter V6 engine with Edelbrock intake and electronic ignition. The engine is mated to a Turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission turning a 10-bolt rear end with 2.56 gears. The front end utilizes a Nova front clip with A-arm suspension fitted with RideTech air-ride and a sway bar. Other modern driveability upgrades include power steering and power disc brakes. The interior is fully trimmed out in leather, including a matching leather wrapped banjo steering wheel with tilt column and a mohair headliner. The bench seat is from Glide Engineering with adjustable recline and the bottom tilts forward, revealing the stereo components and a full-length storage area. Engine monitoring is via AutoMeter gauges and a Moon tachometer. It has a 6-speaker stereo system with a Kenwood base unit and an amplifier. All the glass, except the windshield, has a hologram prism hash pattern laminated between two panes of glass for a very cool effect. The bed is finished in beautiful oak wood with stainless-steel strips and a matching body-colored bed cover. This beautiful pickup is finished in a two-tone paint job and sits on 15-inch chrome American Racing wheels.
