Details
This 1942 Ford GPW is powered by a 4-cylinder engine paired with a 3-speed manual transmission. This example is an early version with a low 5-digit VIN of 37460. It was converted from a 6-volt to a 12-volt and features an all-new alternator, radiator, carburetor, spark plugs, filters and fuel sensor, and the fuel tank was professionally cleaned. In addition, it has new tires with rims, new windshield glass, new seats and cushions, new canvas, new gauges for the instrument cluster, new springs and shocks, new starter, new exhaust and a new M1 carbine bracket for the dash. Many original parts come with the vehicle, and most parts were purchased at Kaiser-Willys. It features new data plates and original plates, which come with the vehicle.
