Extremely rare 1942 Cadillac Series 61 sedan with only 49,890 original miles. This car was completed on November 25, 1941, less than two weeks before the attack on Pearl Harbor, which ceased vehicle production until late 1945. Documented with a copy of the original Build Order from the GM archives. Had one repaint many years ago but retains the original black Code 1 paint under the hood and door jambs. Original rib cloth wool interior with only carpets replaced. All original wood grain garnish moldings. Also optioned with an automatic Hydromatic transmission. The accessories include a tissue dispenser and a flower vase. Recently acquired from the previous owner, who cared for the car for almost 20 years. A true survivor and a real piece of American history.
