1940 steel Willys custom 2 door sedan with a 392 Chrysler HEMI, 3 Holley 2 barrel carburetors, 700R transmission and 9' Ford rear with 3.50 gears.
Details
Complete frame-off restoration, custom modified frame with Fat Man front suspension and air bags on front so car can set low or up like a gasser. It has a rebuilt 700R transmission and a powder coated, narrowed 9' rear end with 3.50 gears. 4-bar rear suspension with adjustable coilover springs. The body was dipped to remove all paint and rust then expertly painted with Corvette yellow paint and then old style orange flames. The motor is a 1957 Chrysler 392 HEMI, totally rebuilt. New aluminum radiator by Air Mobile. Complete interior and trunk by Country Tyme Upholstery. Car
has stereo system and air conditioning by Vintage Air. A 3-2 intake was fitted with Holley carburetors. All new Stewart Warner gauges. Flowmaster mufflers. Less than 4,000 miles since completion. Included is a folder of receipts. A great driving car.
