Description

Summary

Custom 8 cruiser touring sedan with Hydramatic drive. A true time capsule that spent many years on an Oldsmobile dealer's showroom floor.

Details

This is a beautiful unmolested 1940 Oldsmobile Series 90 Custom Cruiser with Hydramatic drive. It was the first GM car with this option. It has all original glass with 1951-1952 inspection stickers and a Quaker State grease sticker from May 25, 1948. The tools and jack still have instructions tied to them. This Olds shared the same body with the 1940 Cadillac. The interior is in great condition. You can still see the tape that held the body mounts on when going down the assembly line. One of the reasons this car was kept so unmolested is because it spent many years on an Oldsmobile dealer's showroom floor.
