Here is a phenomenal 1940 Chrysler Newport roadster. This is a one-off metal bodied re-creation of the Chrysler Newport used as the pace car for the 1940 Indianapolis 500, of which only 6 were produced. This car was hand built in roadster form using an original 1940 Chrysler chassis and floor pan. It is registered and titled as a 1940 Chrysler Newport. The car is powered by a 392cid HEMI engine with dual 4 barrel carburetors, a 3-speed Torquefilte transmission, posi-traction rear end, rack & pinion power steering and power brakes. It also has a tilt steering wheel, CD sound system, Kelsey Hayes wheels and full gauges. It was a complete ground-up build with no expense spared and only 400 miles since it was completed. The car is finished in stunning bright red with a lavish tan interior trimmed out in 24k gold. This is a truly special, one-of-a-kind automobile and work of art.
