Details

Winner of an America's Most Beautiful Street Rod award and a Street Rodder Magazine cover car, this multiple award-winning, show-quality 1940 Chevrolet coupe is a true piece of automotive art, built by craftsman Mike Keller of Big Creek Restoration. With custom dash and gauges reminiscent of a Bulova wristwatch from the 1940s, this spectacular car rolls on an Art Morrison chassis with Currie 9' rear, equipped with 31-spline axles, with an Art Morrison four-link. Wilwood 13' disc brakes are on all four corners, with a Ride Tech bag system. The wheels are Foose Knight, 18x7 on front and 20x10 rear, shod in Pirelli P-Zero Rosso 225/45R18 and 295/40ZR20 rubber. Complete with power windows, power steering, tilt wheel and Vintage Air, this piece features a 376ci LS3 engine matched to a 4L80E transmission. Everything about this car is clean and uncluttered; most notably in the engine compartment, which includes an aluminum radiator tucked under a custom cover that incorporates custom LS3 badging. The stainless-steel headers and exhaust system are custom-built, utilizing dual Flowmaster mufflers. The extensive body modifications are blanketed in PPG Vibrance Cinnamon Candy over Copper to add depth and richness to the finish. A two-tone Caramel and Butterscotch leather combination was used for headliner, door panels, custom rear bench, and front bucket seats. Audio is courtesy of an Audison stereo system, which includes several Hertz speakers placed throughout the interior. This is a proven award-winner with outstanding appeal. Vehicle titled as a 1940 Chevrolet Special Constructed. **BONDED TITLE**
