This custom coupe features a BDS Blown 454 by Al's Toy Box with a Cool Yellow PPG paint job with custom flames painted by Allen Johnson of New Jersey. It is very powerful and very fast. This chop top won the 2007 Best in Class Award as the DSR-AACA Show in Mobile, Alabama and has been pictured in many magazines such as 'Street Rodder'. With 7-row radiator, electric fan and heat exchangers under the running boards for extra cooling, the engine runs 180-200 degrees in the hottest weather. Some of
its unique highlights consist of suicide doors with power windows, custom dash 'VDO' white face gauges, electric door latches, and a trunk that opens sideways. This all-steel body vehicle also has a Turbo 400 automatic transmission with B&M shifter, remote engine oil filter with extra large filter, narrow 9' Ford rear axle, posi-traction with 3.90 ratio, adjustable ladder bars with coilovers, Hoosier tires, 3 ?' exhaust, Flowmaster mufflers, braided fuel lines with AW fittings, oil cooler, large trans cooler with 11' front rotors, rear drum brakes, custom gauges, and Ron Francis wiring with all terminals soldered and heat shrunk. In addition to the many receipts for parts and custom work which is far too numerous to list, photos of the car rebuild and body off frame are available. These photos chronicle the time-consuming, hard work that resulted in an absolutely awesome automobile.
