From 1935 on, Packard offered independent front suspension, hydraulic brakes and 110hp from its 282cid Inline 8 cylinder engine giving excellent performance, quiet, relaxed highway cruising and, when it was fitted with sporting open coachwork like this convertible coupe body, the style, flair and those lucky enough to own and drive one, set it apart from its competition. This beautiful 1938 has only 69,968 original miles from new. It had a show-quality restoration 4 years ago. Then it was carefully maintained and stored in climate controlled conditions while being taken out for occasional use and enjoyment. It is particularly handsomely presented in dark blue complemented by Dove Grey leather upholstery, grey carpeting and a lovely dark blue cloth top. It has a jump seat for the occasional passenger and is equipped with dual enclosed side-mounted spares, fog lights and wide white wall tires that go beautifully with its dark blue paint.
