Details

First year for fully-enclosed valve gear. Pivotal year for norton. One of the fastest bikes of that era. Es2's had a glorious racing history. This bike was in london until 1980 when it was imported to california where it was professionally-restored (true and correct) by renowned british motorcycle restorer charles taylor. It was ridden after that (only in good weather). Older restoration. Runs and7 rides great. Starts in only 1 or 2 kicks. Can be ridden daily or shown. Was shown at a recent pre-war bike show, 'the clubman' in san jose, ca march 29, 2003. Just serviced and mechanically inspected. No problems with this bike. ****Sold on bill of sale only****
