Details

This is an all-steel street rod that has been lightly modified and smoothed. The drive train, front and rear suspension are C4 Corvette. Engine is LT1 4-bolt main with 300hp. Transmission is 700 R4. Corvette computer and ABS braking. The air conditioning has dual evaporators, one is under the rear seat and supplies AC to the rear of the cabin and the electronic components under the rear seat. AM/FM/10-disc changer with power amplifiers are located under rear seat with Sony control head dash

mounted. All speakers replaced with new 2008. Has a custom fuel cell from Fuel Safe and located through the trunk floor with custom fuel filler on the left rear fender. The dash was redesigned using Auto Meter classic gages, clock, improved vents and custom glove box in the fall of 2009. The interior was finished in leather in 2009. The custom redesigned frame is powdercoated. The rear fenders are welded to the body and seams are filled and smoothed. The under sides of the body panels and fenders are coated in color coordinated bed liner material for sound control and to prevent rock dings in the fenders from below. The door and trunk handles are shaved and these are opened by controls integrated with a Viper alarm system. A hidden from view manual door pull is located on the passenger door in case of failure of the two Optima batteries located in the forward trunk area. **Titled As A 1938 Buick Special Construction**
