the desert. Car purchased in 1974 by present and third owner. The car was originally purchased in 1937 in Hiawatha, KS. The owner passed away and as the widow did not drive, her two sons placed the car up on blocks in storage in the little single car garage. The second owner, Mr. Newman, purchased the car at the widow's estate sale in 1964, still on the same blocks it was put on 23 years earlier. Mr. Newman, being an old car collector, stored it in a barn for an additional 10 years until the present owner purchased it. I purchased it with my father, who was a farmer and an acquaintance of Mr. Newman. I replaced the factory original tires, belts, hoses, and sparkplugs. Over the years I had the body painted and the undercarriage undercoated. Over the past 37 years I have enjoyed the car for 8,000 miles or about 200 miles per year. The car drives very well, no rattles or problems and can be driven anywhere. The car has never been in any type of accident and has never had a speck of rust.
