Purchased in 2004 as an older restoration, no expense has been spared to create this beautiful and rare 1935 Studebaker Commander to its current condition. While preserving much of its original features like door handles, headlight buckets, functional cowl air vent, hand parking brake and the very, very rare 'Flying Goddess' hood ornament, the car was built to be driven safely and comfortably. Ford drivetrain powered by a 460cid, C-6 automatic, Lokar shifter, 9' Ford rear end with 2.73 gears, 11' front disc and rear drums, Walker custom radiator with twin 3,500cfm cooling fans and a 20 gallon stainless steel fuel tank. All of the driver's convenience, including Vintage Air and heat, power steering, power brakes, tilt column, cruise control, power seats left and right, column mounted dimmers, Dolphin gauge package, halogen headlamps, entry courtesy lights, overhead interior lights, front and rear seat belts, 2-speed HD electric wipers, electric trunk release, two power ports, Alpine overhead mounted sound system with a CD changer, XM Radio and frenched antenna. Fully customized interior by Chewy's of Jupiter, custom designed bumpers by Britz of California and Studebaker step pads to protect the fenders.
