aka insitgator.Ridler award Great 8 finalist, 509cid all-aluminum ZL1 V8, vintage Hilborn intake, Accel gen and fuel injection, custom valve covers, Turbo Hydromatic 350 transmission, Lokar shifter, Winters 3.91 differential, Wilwood 6-piston calipers, 13' discs, Coddington billet wheels and DuPont Hot Hues paint. A totally original creation based on some key 1934 Chevrolet styling elements. From the windshield forward all of the bodywork was totally hand fabricated, including the grille which was specially made to fit within a sections and narrowed '34 Chevrolet grille shell. Rear quarters were also heavily modified to accept the massive 24' wheels. A custom driveshaft tunnel was created to flow from the dashboard when viewed from the cockpit. Headlights were mounted atop the front suspension with custom mounts and feature one-off hidden turn signals. The all-aluminum body was coated in three shades of DuPont Hot Hues paint. The upper portion of the Instigator is finished in 'Blackened', and the lower in 'Scarlet Fever' with a pinstripe of 'Key Lime Green' surrounding the entire car to highlight its high belt line. The chassis is finished to the same incredibly high standard as the body. A state-of-the-art custom audio system was installed featuring only the very best components, and has a rear camera system that displays in dash. Red and black leather that shows beautifully, with floors covered in the same European leather and a touch of dyed red wool. Highly desirable Boyd Coddington wheels, special lower air dam fabricated for custom made radiator, an octad of velocity intake trumpets, Heidt's stainless steel A-arms and Viper coilovers. Too many awards to list and has appeared on numerous telivision programs and featured in scores of magazines. this car has a treasure-trove of build records and documentation that will come with it including the original display that accompanied it to several Hot Rod shows.
