Details

The IronMen Foundation presents a '32 Ford Roadster dubbed 'Metal of Honor,' aptly named because it is an all-steel car built to auction and provide scholarships for the children of our slain and disabled U.S. Military heroes. The purchase of this car will be a tax deductible donation to the 501(c)(3) foundation. The car was designed by Ford designer, John Caswell, and built by skilled volunteers entirely of new parts donated by America's premier Hot Rod parts suppliers. Ford, Brookville

Roadster, Rock Valley Antique Auto, TCI Chassis, Valspar, Stainless Works, MHT/Foose, Pirelli, Edelbrock, Powermaster, Vintage Air, Walker, Street & Performance, SoCal, Bob Drake, Ogden Tom & Trim, Willett Coachworks, Custom Classics, Juliano's Ididit, Borgeson, Mullin, Wilwood, Currie, Inland Empire, Custom Autosound, Classic Instruments, Speedway Motors, Bowler Transmissions and Yogi's - to name a few. The overall theme color is OD Green (Olive Drab). The side graphics is a hand-painted digital camouflage. The interior is done in tan khaki and green. The car also features original military ammo boxes and satchels that function as storage containers for various functional pieces. It has a soft, lift-off Rodware top that attaches to the Stanley Wanlass designed windshield. Motorhead Design House produced the Robert Horn-designed Medal of Honor emblems on the bullnose, wheel hubs, horn button and fabric inset. Con 2R then crafted that emblem on to the gas tank lid. To top it all off, the car carries the signatures of 43 living Medal of Honor recipients on the trunk lid . At this writing, the car has 38 miles on the odometer. We believe this car would be a welcome and patriotic centerpiece for anyone's collection. **ALL PROCEEDS TO BENEFIT THE IRONMEN FOUNDATION** **WILL BE SOLD AT APPROXIMATELY 1:30PM SUNDAY JANUARY 22, 2012**
