Details

Starting with a set of custom Lobeck frame rails, a fabricator utilized an actual factory steel body, found in solid condition, and then created an aluminum hood with louvered steel sides. The windshield was chopped 4 inches and laid back 2 inches. The rear quarters were widened 2 inches, as well as the inside of the doors. A handmade removable hardtop with black Haartz cloth covering gives it the illusion of being a ragtop. The vehicle is finished in Glasurit Pure Black paint. Power comes from

a customized a 350ci V8 GM crate engine hooked up to a Turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission. It's cooled by a custom aluminum radiator. SoCal discs up front provide the stopping power, and the polished chrome wheels are 6-inch Billet Legacies in front and 10.5-inch ET Fuelers in the rear. All the chassis components are mirror-finished, with 4-inch dropped axle in front with stainless spindles and pins. The gas tank, headers and exhaust are also custom-made, and the cab has a unique double floor design that conceals all the wires and lines. Creature comforts include Ruby Red Kimball leather seats, a vintage '37 Ford radio, a WiFi stereo in the dash upgraded with a hidden 10-disc CD changer, and a full Classic Instruments gauge package.
