Details
With right-hand drive, this is a patina-lover's car. Completely original, unmolested and unrestored, this car has its original factory upholstery and all its brocade trim remaining. The factory sunroof (which does not leak), fitted luggage in the trunk and the original Knight-sleeve-valve engine round out its originality. The car runs and drives very nicely, and the Knight engine will propel it to a respectable highway speed. The door fit is outstanding and they close with bank-vault solidity. This car is documented as being imported by E Ann Klein, founder of Universal Tire for her collection at Klein Kars Inc. in 1972. Upon her death in 2007, it was sold off with the rest of her collection. It also comes with the original shipping tag from Great Britain as well as the original crank, original wheel wrench and a spare set of sleeves for the engine.
