Details
This full-custom vehicle is powered by a 1995 transplant from a Corvette, an LT1 350 SFI injected engine and an overdrive 4L60E automatic transmission. With its 4-wheel disc brakes and full-air ride suspension, this truck rides and handles like a go-cart. The rear is an 8.8' Ford with Trac-Lok limited slip differential. The rear tires are monster Mickey Thompson 29x15.5' wide drag radials on vintage USA aluminum slot 15x10', and they stick this little rat. In front is a pair of vintage USA
aluminum slots to match the rear. Plenty has been removed from the bottom of the cab and a bunch from the middle, for an estimated total loss of over 18' in height. The full-custom floor is channeled over the frame. The interior is as basic as it comes: there is a pair of seats and a steering wheel. The display is a donor from a 1995 Firebird and functional. The front suspension is an out-of-the-box Mustang II front-end kit with sway bar. All air lines are braided stainless with stainless fittings for leak-free operation. Single air pump and a 1.5-gallon tank are all that's needed to keep this ride up to pressure. There is even a surprise pneumatic train horn. It has dual master cylinder Wilwood brake assembly with stock calipers and rotors all around. It's fully computer-controlled with a modified factory PCM. This little truck starts every time and drives great.
