Rendered in Good Gulf orange and blue livery, this 1927 Ford Model T petroleum delivery truck is fitted with a vintage steel 125-gallon storage tank, divided to carry motor oil and gasoline to retail outlets. At the back of the tank is a separate compartment used to store and dispense grease and oil. Compact rigs like this were used to deliver Gulf products to farmers located in rural regions as gas burning tractors and farm machinery became more and more popular. The extra-length cargo bed is
specifically designed to accommodate the tank, suggesting this has been an oil vehicle since new. The folding top cab opens for fun summer cruising. A beautifully polished brass fire extinguisher is mounted to the LH running board. A perfect addition to any museum, theme restaurant/bar or commercial vehicle collection.
