What a magnicent vehicle. This Buick has Senior Status with the Buick Club of America and the Antique Automobile Club of America. This Buick has been shown all across the US and has never placed less than First in Class and Best of Show. This Buick is always transported in its own specially-built trailer. Also included will be numerous unobtainable spare parts including electrical items, plated pieces, gaskets and gauges. Along with several original, framed, color advertisements of the Buick and manuals such as reference book with envelope, sales brochure, sales catalog, special features and detailed specifications, gold seal used car plan and shop manual. These Fisher Body cars are becoming non-existent due to the deteriorating structural wood and pot metal, the complexities of restoration, the availability of parts and the car itself, and the lost art of being able to do this work. An album has been completed detailing the entire 31-year restoration and giving credit to the some 200 individuals that lent assistance to the restoration. The elegance of this Buick is displayed in the plush mohair interior, inlaid walnut trim and wood dash gauge facings. I have never seen another complete set of these wood dash gauge facings. Special features not standard when new include bumpers, etched wind wings, radio (receiver), rim wind clock, rear seat heater, bud vases, leather trunk and dual spare tires. Some parts were not only recast, but hand-formed to exactly match originals. For instance, it took an artist and an engraver to redo each door threshold plate since each is actually different and this is an area where the judges look to take off points. Work was completed anywhere in the country that the very best and original work could be accomplished. This is truly a work of art. This Buick looks as good now as it did at the completion of the total restoration and looks as it would have looked on the showroom floor.
