From the collection of the late Harold Carpenter. 177cid 4 cylinder Flathead Ford engine. 2-speed planetary transmission. 12 volt electric start. This 1926 Model T was custom built in the 1970's as a tow truck by Harold Carpenter. It was assembled from a variety of Model T parts. The body and frame are 1926. The engine number is model year 1922 but set up as a 1926. It sports brass gas headlights, brass oil sidelights and taillights, and brass plated radiator cowling. The bed is made of

finished wood. It has wood spoke wheels, dual real wheels and a hand crank winch for the tow boom.
