Rick Dore has over 20 years of creative experience as a custom car builder and automotive stylist. Rick specializes in conceptual styling to completed vehicle transformations from start to finish, all of which takes place under his meticulous supervision. This wonderful specimen is Rick's dream of a Model T called the 'Golden Era'. It was built using many of the classic lines from the 50s and 60s, but with Rick's own style and flair. Its steel body was hand formed by Rick on a stretched chassis leaving the doors in place but without being able to open. Usually small doors are a pain to keep aligned and the Golden Era is super low, making getting in and out quite easy. It also kept the body lines perfect and delicious. From the sculptured V-grille with three chrome bullets bracketed by teardrop headlight pods, the rod's lines swoop past a unique hood scoop to a Du Vall style split windshield and over into a gleaming white cockpit. Wide whitewalls on Radir wheels, Maltese cross accents and exposed headers combine to lock up the early Sixties vibe. Its Ford 351 Windsor motor has been built to a strong 325hp, making performance fast and tight thru its C-4 automatic transmission.
