HEMI Charger 4-speed is white with red interior and red accent stripe. One of 250 4-speeds sold new in the U.S., Number 27 of only 42 in Galen's Registry. According to the IBM punchcard ordered from Chrysler Historical, this HEMI Charger was shipped from Chrysler's Lynch Road plant in Michigan on March 17, 1966, and sold new at Larry Motors in Louisville, KY. After the 1965 Show Car circuit displayed the Silver 'long back' Charger II, it generated enough interest that the 1966 Charger was added mid-year to the Dodge line-up. The Rallye-style dash incorporated a full array of gauges, including a 150 mph speedometer and a 6,000 rpm tachometer. The only B-body to come standard with an inside hood release. Take a look at the unique headliner and the radio knobs.
