This 1949 Cadillac Series 62 convertible is from the first year of the overhead-valve 331ci V8 engine. The engine is original to the car and is mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. The car was professionally restored, with the exterior finished in Midnight Blue with a beige top. The red interior was sourced using leading interior designer Jenkins Interiors in North Carolina, which specializes in original Cadillac interiors. The leather stitching is done to the original Cadillac design. The restoration also included various mechanical work and refurbished front-end suspension and shocks. The car is equipped with period 900x15 tires with classic 3-inch-wide whitewall tires.
