This finished-for-show triple-black Pro-Touring 1967 Chevelle convertible is powered by a new LS7 7.0-liter V8 engine producing 505hp and 470 ft/lbs of torque. The engine is connected to a 4L75E automatic transmission with a 3.73 12-bolt posi-traction rear axle, 3-inch exhaust system and Hooker headers, all of which is 304 stainless steel. Braking power is provided by a Wilwood big-brake package. The engine is cooled by a custom-built aluminum DeWitt radiator finished in satin black. The
exterior features period-correct SS hood and 427 emblems, Stayfast factory power convertible top, original bumpers and stainless trim. The car sits on a complete Hotchkis suspension system, including Fox shocks in the TVS package, and rides on 17-inch American racing wheels and tires. The period-correct interior features upgraded power windows, Dakota RTX analog instrument cluster, AM/FM radio, and Vintage Air heating and cooling. Its body was stripped and cleaned, all metalwork completed, epoxy prime and top-coated with BASF urethane paint. The frame is finished in powder-coat. The interior floor, firewall and underside are finished with Raptor coating for additional protection and noise control. Garage-kept for over 40 years, the build was completed in May 2020 with over 1,200 hours invested, and it has been driven approximately 800 miles since completion.
